Joint Membership Agreement

The board of directors from Canadian Therapeutic Recreation Association (CTRA) and Saskatchewan Association of Recreation Professionals (SARP) are excited to announce a Joint Membership Agreement (JMA).  Moving forward, both organizations will work together to strengthen the voice of Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Professionals in our province and nationally.

This JMA is similar to existing agreements in place with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association and British Columbia Therapeutic Recreation Association.  The CTRA-SARP JMA encourages membership of TR professionals in Saskatchewan to be engaged both provincially and nationally.  New and ongoing members of CTRA in Saskatchewan will join or renew their membership through the provincial association.  Members will also be automatically enrolled in the CTRA Saskatchewan-Manitoba Chapter.  This ensures a connection between provincial voice and national voice, ultimately strengthening advocacy efforts.

Details of the agreement, process and procedure will be posted on www.sarponline.ca as they develop.
