Lara Schroeder - Chair

Lara has her master’s degree in Sport Management, Recreation and Leisure Studies. She was elected to the S.A.R.P. Board of Directors in 2019 and now calls Spiritwood home. She has worked in the recreation industry for over 7 years, including provincial sport management with Golf Saskatchewan, Sask Volleyball and Saskatchewan Soccer. She is currently the owner of ‘Spark Solutions’, a consulting firm dedicated to supporting organizations achieve their goals. In her spare time, Lara enjoys visiting museums, travelling and doing a host of recreational activities with friends.
Chantelle Erdman

Chantelle is from Regina and has been working in the Recreation field for 38 years, with her last 25+ years as a Recreation Therapist. She served on the S.A.R.P. Board of Directors from 2002 to 2009 and was Chair from 2007-2008. She appreciated being able to assist S.A.R.P in all capacities and is anxious to do it again. For the last 25+ years, Chantelle has enjoyed a side gig of Direct Sales, with the last 6 years offering Epicure’s Good Food choices. She appreciates spending time with her family; traveling, golfing, exploring nature and advocating for the versatile needs of individuals who would benefit from community Recreation Therapy. Chantelle is looking forward to supporting the association and the future work of the Board of Directors.
Rebecca Newson

Rebecca currently resides in Saskatoon and is an active member of the Saskatoon community. She has been working in the recreation field for almost 10 years with her experience varying from fitness, to sport recreation, to aquatics. As a recent graduate of the University of Saskatchewan in Kinesiology, Rebecca uses her skills to promote healthy living and teaching how physical fitness is a component of our overall health and well-being. With her aquatics background, she promotes water safety and water education for multiple non-for-profit organizations in and around Saskatoon.
Leanne Schellenberg

Leanne joined the board in September 2022. She has 10 years of experience working in the sport and recreation field which includes spending time at the Saskatchewan Wheelchair Sport Association, the City of Saskatoon, and the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games. She has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Saskatchewan. Currently, she works as the Games Manager for the 2023 Saskatchewan Winter Games which will be hosted in Regina. In her spare time, Leanne enjoys golfing, reading, traveling, and gardening.
Tina Clay

Tina grew up in Regina, but has called Weyburn home since 2005. She received her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health Studies degree with a Major in Recreation and Sport Administration from the University of Regina. She has worked in the recreation field for 17 years, with most of her experience as the Program Manager for the City of Weyburn. She is active in the community as a board member for the South East Sport, Culture and Recreation District, the Weyburn Oilwomen Association and a Co-General Leader for her local 4-H Beef Club. In her spare time, Tina loves reading, travelling and going on outdoor adventures with her family. As a newly appointed member of the S.A.R.P board, Tina is looking forward to learning and helping the association grow in all aspects.
