Helen Meekins is from Naicam, Saskatchewan and is Lakeland District for Sport, Culture and Recreation’s Community Consultant. She has a bachelor of Kinesiology in Recreation and Sport Administration from the University of Regina and has worked in the Recreation Sector for the past 19 years. Helen is a Councilor and Deputy Reeve with the Rural Municipality of Pleasantdale, the Chair of Lake Charron Regional Park Authority and sits on other boards/committees. In her spare time, Helen enjoys spending time with her family and recognizes that recreation plays a huge role in their mental and physical wellbeing.
