COVID 19 Recreation Experiences Survey LTC & Retirement Homes

Dr. Kate Dupuis, Schlegel Innovation Leader at the Centre for Elder Research, is doing a research study on the experiences of recreation staff in retirement homes and long-term care during the pandemic. Saskatchewan Association of Recreation Professionals is pleased to support this study by circulating it to our membership and we encourage you to share this with all colleagues.

COVID-19 recreation experiences survey focuses on people working in recreation in long term care and retirement homes.

Are you working in recreation and leisure in a retirement or long-term care home in Canada?

Little is known about the experiences of recreation staff working in retirement and long-term care settings during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study, led by Dr. Kate Dupuis, Schlegel Innovation Leader at the Centre for Elder Research, is to address gaps in knowledge by investigating how staff have responded to the pandemic within their own work environments in order to best serve their residents.

The research team would love to hear from you. Please take a few moments to complete their survey here.
