Professional Development & Education – The Association will create opportunities for its members to continue their professional education, thereby, maintaining and improving their professional skills.
Advocacy – The Association will advocate on behalf of its members to raise the awareness of the profession and the value of having a recreation professional supporting a community.
Development of Standards – The creation and adoption of professional standards (designation) ensures our members are capable of providing high quality recreation services in Saskatchewan.
A number of events are organized and hosted by S.A.R.P. that allow members to network and gain knowledge about the latest trends and issues in the recreation field. For upcoming events please check the News section on the homepage.
The mentor program provides an opportunity for students to network, exchange ideas and gain knowledge from a professional specializing in their area of interest. More information about this program will be coming soon.
