Mandate

Governance Committee

The Governance Committee receives its authority from the Board of Directors to assist the Board with governance matters.

Financial Audit Committee

The Financial Audit Committee receives its authority from the Board of Directors to assist the Board with financial matters.

Nominations/Membership Committee

The Membership/Nominating Committee receives its authority from the Board of Directors to adjudicate membership within S.A.R.P. and to propose the names of candidates suitable for election to the Board of Directors.

Board of Regents

The Board of Regents is a group of long-time members of the organization that have a wealth of experience that can be used to benefit the organization. The Board of Regents receives its authority from the Board of Directors act as a sounding board for strategic advice.

John Austin Foundation Committee

The John Austin Foundation is to assure the financial stability upon which the John Austin Foundation may operate and grow.

Adjudication Task Group

The task group meets to review the Education Assistance and Professional Development applications to determine the significance to the applicant’s professional development, allocate point values and ensure the applicant meets the Grant criteria.

Member Recruitment Strategy Task Group

To review current membership and identify gaps. To recruit and retain membership and assist the Executive Director.

Awards/Roy Ellis Bursary Task Group

To review the awards/Roy Ellis Bursary criteria and application forms annually and recommend changes to the director of membership and recruitment. The group selects award recipients deserving of S.A.R.P. recognition and selects the Roy Ellis Bursary recipient.
